We are seeking an experienced Care Centre Manager to manage a residential home in Lincoln.

This position is full time, working a minimum 40 hour week.

Pay is negotiable dependant on experience.

This job would suit experienced managers and those with deputy manager experience who are looking for the next step in their career.

About the home

My Clients home provides residential care for older people with dementia.

The home has recently been refurbished and re-decorated to provide a cosy and comfortable home. The home is set in spacious grounds that provide a secure garden area to ensure our resident’s safety at all times and is well served by many of Lincoln’s major bus routes.

The home is currently registered to deliver personal care to adults assessed for requiring assistance. We have 26 bedrooms over 3 floors, 7 of which are en-suite. Our staff are trained to deliver person centred care specifically tailored to meet the needs of individual clients with dementia.

Job Role: Delivery of business performance and quality targets for a specific care home. Provide support and leadership to the Care Home staff, implementing a culture of customer focus and quality of service. Establish and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Care for Elderly adults who may or may not be suffering with cognitive failure.
  • Minimum level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Registered Managers Award or equivalent (achieved/ working towards)
  • Broad experience of managing people, service and quality to achieve performance targets.
  • Must demonstrate a caring/service ethos.
  • Comprehensive understanding of commercial principles and practices.
  • Good understanding of Profit & Loss structure and budget management.
  • Ability to act sensitively and confidentially.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, and ability to work on own initiative.
  • Demonstrates a high level of personal integrity towards providing a high standard of service
  • Excellent record in achieving results through people
  • Ability to communicate and lead effectively at all levels.
  • Proficient computer skills in word processing, database use and spread sheet applications.
  • Must have full understanding of Private Fee Paying Market Place
  • Must have good understanding of Staff Retention issues.
  • Must be proficient in Marketing a home and building lasting relationships in the local community
