We are seeking to appoint a Head of School to work within a specialist school for young people with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties compounded by complex learning difficulties.
The position would suit a professional with at least 2 years’ leadership and management experience within a school environment.
As the Head you will need to be prepared to work flexibly in a vibrant, caring and supportive educational environment. The successful candidate will be able to manage and lead the education and operational performance of the school, ensuring compliance with company standards, quality indicators and inspection report recommendations. They will ensure all legislative and regulatory requirements are fully met and monitored and that learning strategies in place are relevant and best meet the needs of our learners. The school is an innovative programme where therapy is fully embedded into the school curriculum. There are opportunities to expand the alternative education within the school to enhance the learning of all young people who attend. The school has a care home on site so will be taking a mixture of looked after children as well as day children.

” Have proven people leadership and management skills within an education setting, including motivating, directing, delegating. Proven organisational skills. Proven financial management skills
