THE ORGANISATION:

Set in 16 acres of landscaped grounds, our client caters for men with intensive care and acute mental health needs in a secure environment. For women, we treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including personality disorder and our locked rehabilitation prepares women for life after discharge. Offering a wide range of therapies including CBT, DBT and Schema Therapy.

THE ROLE:

We have an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate, caring and want to make a difference to people’s lives. You will assist the devoted Multi-Disciplinary team, playing an important role in the daily routine of the service users as well as admission, assessment, implementation and discharge of inpatients, with a focus on dignity and safety at all times.

You will be working in a hospital providing guidance and encouragement to patients through physical and emotional support, assisting patients with their medical and welfare needs whilst safeguarding and maintaining a safe, clean and enjoyable environment to live and work in.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

You will be dedicated, caring and passionate about helping people; having a real interest in improving the lives of others.

A good level of literacy and numeracy skills will be necessary, but also a drive to develop your knowledge and skills to ensure you are constantly providing the best quality care for services users and a high-level knowledge base / support system to your team. Whilst also being able to demonstrate the ability to effectively deal with a range of challenging situations, bringing with you a strong mental aptitude meeting the demands of the role.
