THE ROLE:
We are seeking to appoint an experienced maths teacher to deliver KS3 and KS4 Mathematics up to and including GCSE. The ability to deliver other subjects is desirable, although not mandatory.
You will be teaching young people with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties, complex learning difficulties and autism.
This post will suit professional individuals who are prepared to work flexibly in a vibrant, caring and supportive educational environment. The successful candidate will be able to develop, plan and deliver the required level and standard of education to our students/pupils through creative application of professional knowledge and teaching techniques. Ensuring their own actions and behaviour comply with corporate policy and local procedures, statutory regulations and quality standards.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:
” Be a fully qualified teacher ideally with some experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour, complex learning difficulties or autism.
” Be a sound understanding of the current legislation and statutory regulations relating to educational and care and a detailed knowledge of the National Curriculum.
” Be passionate, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
” Have excellent interpersonal skills
” Be highly organised and adaptable
” Be a strong team player
” Be flexible and happy to take on new challenges.
” Be committed to working in partnership with parents and outside agencies
