THE ROLE:

Our client has an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced service manager, Combs Court comprises of three separate homes, a shared flat, and four individual bungalows which provide assessment and support for adults living with a primary learning disability diagnosis but may present complex conditions and mild to moderate challenging behaviours. There is ground floor accommodation and adapted equipment as required by individual needs. The services are registered for adults with a diagnosis of Autism, learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge, in Stowmarket, Suffolk.

The successful applicant will have a strong background of successful service management, preferably with knowledge of new service commissioning, business development and leading excellence in care and support. A detailed knowledge of the statutory requirements associated with care and support for the people who use our services is essential. You should also be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the key business activities associated with a care and support service.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

You should also be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the key business activities associated with a care and support service.

We are looking for a candidate who has knowledge of current legislation and requirements, guidelines and best practice. Who has the ability to effectively manage a team of multi-skilled staff. A working knowledge of all financial elements of running a successful business unit. NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification and strong experience in working in a Learning Disabilities service.
