This Children’s home is a registered home for five young people aged 7 to 19 who have complex needs which may include autistic spectrum disorders (ASD) and complex associated difficulties.
We believe our Children’s Home is a very special home for children and young people where daily living experiences and activities are meaningful and memorable and are designed to meet the needs of individual children in areas that are personal to them.

This Support Worker role in Tadley will be 37.5 hours a week. This is a full time role and you’ll be working on a shift system including early, late and weekend shifts. Applicants should have, QCF/NVQ3 or be willing to work towards this upon completion of probation.


We are seeking a residential support worker to work in safe and homely environment for children and young people between 7-19 who have complex needs which may include Autism. You will work in the residential setting. Ideally, we are looking for people with previous experience but what we really want is an outgoing attitude, dedication to making a difference and to share our commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare.

  • Ideally have Level 3 Diplomas in Children or Young People’s Workforce or willingness to undertake this qualification within a robust timescale.
  • Experience working with a children’s home or similar setting.
  • Experience working with children with emotional, social and mental health needs who may have challenging behaviour.
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be a strong team player and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Be flexible and resilient and be able to respond to the changing needs of those who we support
  • A strong “can do” attitude
  • Have own transport


For all roles we require a minimum of two references. References provided must cover the last 3 years, or you are applying to work within our Children’s Homes we will need to request all references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults.
