Students are likely to experience challenges with social communication and interaction with others and lack understanding of the everyday social rules. These difficulties can impact on their emotional wellbeing, behaviour and ability to participate in education or engage positively with others.

Experience working in a similar environment with young people with complex needs is desirable but not essential as full training is given as part of a detailed induction programme.
Regardless of your experience level, we will work with you to develop your skills and confidence in the role. Every Support Worker receives an extensive induction which includes group-based classroom training, two weeks of shadowing and ongoing training.
