This is exciting opportunity for Training Manager who will be responsible for managing the learning and development for a portfolio of Health Care sites ensuring a designated level of compliance within the East and South West of England.


o Source, develop and deliver appropriate courses to maintain a programme of legislative, mandatory and developmental training
o Work with the Head of Learning and Development and HR team to provide and promote a learning and development culture within the organisation
o Provide accurate costs of planned learning and development programmes
o Manage attendance on workshops and courses making judgements on the viability of low attended courses and monitor, review and evaluate the effectiveness
o Manage the delivery of learning and development, maintaining schedules of training and contributing to the training strategy of the organisation
o Research new technologies and methodologies in the workplace and present this research
o Ensure that there is a comprehensive induction programme for all new staff
o Ensure that appropriate qualifications and awards are available to all staff in line with the organisation’s learning and development
o Act as the liaison point between Cygnet Healthcare and outside organisations such as Skills for Care, Skills for Health and City & Guilds


o Be able to work to strict deadlines
o Be professional, reliable and flexible, able to deal with changing team dynamics and situations
o Be an independent worker, with the ability to be a team player
o Have great attention to detail and have excellent administrative skills
o Be able to demonstrate organisational, planning, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
