Are you a Consultant in Elderly Medicine who has the capability, drive and most importantly the passion to contribute to the improvement of elderly people’s lives in the North West of Surrey?

The post I am recruiting for requires an exceptional Consultant to lead and manage elderly care provisions in the community – overseeing outpatient and inpatient services.

Working for a private organisation delivering NHS services this exciting position will allow you to utilise your expertise in leadership, management and geriatric assessment and demonstrate your skills as an astute strategist.

Working alongside a varied MDT and 3 consultants you will play a pivotal role in service delivery and development, therefore your ability to cultivate strong relationships is essential. Much of your focus will be working with local CCGs and acute services to improve services in frail elderly care whilst enhancing relationships with GPs, Public health professionals, therapist, nurses and external agencies.

The perfect candidate:

Full registration with the GMC and should hold a licence to practice.
Applicants must have entry on the GMC Specialist Register
CCT/CESR
Sub Specialty
A track record of clinical quality improvement
Mature influencing skills
An detailed knowledge of professional regulation and evidence based practice
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in liaison or community work
